*Whether youre a scientist, engineer, or other professional it is handy to have a comprehensive array of conversion data at hand.

*If youre a student, someone relocating to a new area, or just one who travels a lot, this product will take some of the guesswork out of life.

*It even reveals the measurement units required by the minds of the ancients.

*(While the Metric System is becoming standardized, most countries still have a prevalent use of older systems.)

*In places where Internet or phone service is unavailable this product still functions perfectly. All features are included and instantly available.

This app does require you to update your device to the current version of its operating system and is optimized for the following devices (basically all iPhones and iPads from 2015 on).

iPhones – iPhone 6s and 6s Plus; iPhone SE; iPhone 7 and 7 Plus; iPhone 8 and 8 Plus; iPhone X, Xs, Xs Max, and XR; iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max; and newer iPhones.

iPads – iPad Mini 4/Mini 5th generation; iPad Air 2/Air 3rd gen; 9.7"/12.9" iPad Pro; Standard iPad 5th/6th/7th gen; 12.9" Standard iPad 2nd/3rd gen; 10.5"/11" iPad, and newer iPads.

The switches at the bottom of the app allow one to view the units by size or alphabetically. They also allow one to include old units (like Shekels) and to include extreme unit sizes (like Lightyears). For example, in the basic Length Category there are 89 units. If you set the extreme sizes switch, there are 130 units. If you set the old units switch, there are 217 units, and if you include both "old" and "extreme", you are working with 259 different measurement units in the Length Category (no downloads required). All 45 categories function this way, and each category has its definition displayed by pressing the Info Button.

The categories include: Length, Area, Volume, Time, Frequency, Velocity, Kinematic Viscosity, Volumetric Flow, Acceleration, Mass, Density, Mass Flow Rate, Dynamic Viscosity, Force, Pressure, Energy, Power, Plane Angle, Angular Velocity, Angular Acceleration, Solid Angle, Luminous Intensity, Luminance, Luminous Flux, Illuminance, Temperature, Specific Heat, Thermal
Conductivity, Electric Current, Magnetization, Electric Charge, Electric Current Density, Electromotive Force, Electric Field Strength, Magnetic Flux, Electrical Conductance, Electrical Resistance, Electrical Capacitance, Electric Conductivity, Electrical Inductance, Resistivity, Electric Charge Density, Magnetic Induction, Permittivity, and Magnetic Permeability.

As is common in the United States, this app breaks multi-digit numbers into groups of three using commas as delimiters in the integer part and in the decimal part, even when using scientific notation.
